MIKE DERRY WINS DEBATE!

At the June 22 debate, Mike demonstrated a strong understanding of provincial issues, presented practical solutions, and showed he is ready to represent Calgary-Shaw in the Alberta Legislature. WHAT MIKE DERRY HAS ACCOMPLISHED DURING THIS CAMPAIGN

Thank you for your support and encouragement throughout this campaign. Over the past several months, our team has worked tirelessly to build relationships and earn your trust. We have knocked on doors in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +28°C, because we believe showing up matters. Throughout this campaign: – Mike informed all residents about the nomination process, not just UCP members. – Mike delivered campaign literature to every household in Calgary-Shaw. – Mike personally knocked on more than 15,000 doors. Mike conducted a comprehensive survey by phone, email, online, and at the doorstep. The results are available at MikeDerry.ca. – Mike is the only candidate with a detailed policy platform available online. – Mike requested the June 22 Town Hall and Debate to ensure the information you needed was available. – Mike has consistently emphasized that members are the employer and elected officials are accountable to those they serve. Including honouring the commitments they make to the constituents. – Mike has demonstrated a commitment to listening through surveys, direct conversations, literature drops, emails, phone calls, and online engagement. Mike is the only candidate with visible campaign signs throughout the constituency, helping build momentum for our party. – Mike and his family live in South Calgary and are actively involved in the community they seek to represent. – Mike is the only candidate that lives local, is proud to live local, and wants to serve the area he lives in.

Why I’m Running

The reason I decided to seek this nomination is simple: I want to give back to the community and make a positive difference.

Like many Albertans, I became frustrated with the constant division and political noise. Rather than complain, I decided to become part of the solution.

My private-sector experience with TELUS, CNRL, and my own consulting company, LegendDERRY Talent, has prepared me to serve effectively. Throughout my career, I have hired and developed employees, advised executives, improved organizational performance, designed compensation programs, and helped businesses solve complex challenges.

One of my greatest passions has been helping young Albertans succeed by creating stronger connections between education and industry, ensuring students have opportunities to build meaningful careers here at home.

I understand how large organizations operate, where inefficiencies occur, and how to improve performance while maintaining accountability. My professional experience has taught me how to identify waste, improve efficiency, and deliver measurable results.

Alberta needs more of that practical, results-oriented approach in government, and I am prepared to bring it on day one.
